Announcements:
WELCOME BACK!: It is hard to believe that the school year is starting up again! I hope that everyone had a fantastic summer enjoying all of the wonderful things that spare time and beautiful weather has to offer! As most of you are aware, I will be teaching Mrs. Hedges Grade 7/8 class while she is on maternity leave this year. I look forward to meeting with each of you over the coming weeks. Please feel to drop by the classroom for an opportunity to take a look around, make yourself aware of our routines, and to say hello.
The class webpage will play a vital role in our school-home communication program this year. Please take a bit of time to make yourself familiar with the links and visit often as new information and links will become available over the the next few weeks.
FIRST DAY NOTES: Please refer to the letter your received at the end of last year from the Intermediate Division teachers so that you can come prepared. Important items are 2 binders, lined paper, dividers, pens, pencils, highlighters, pencil crayons, scissors, glue stick, math set, and a calculator. Appropriate indoor footwear will be required for physical education classes and safety reasons.

FREE! Online Math Tutoring: All Grades 7-10 students now have access to Ontario’s free, online math tutoring program. The free, real-time service connects teachers with students looking for extra support. It is available every Sunday to Thursday, from 5:30-9:30 p.m., at http://www.edu.gov.on.ca/elearning/homework.html
